For a few years, we dreamed of expanding our hay-loft / attic into a new apartment. After several months of planning, designing and fine tuning, we started in October 2012 with the renovation of the hay-loft.

End December 2013, we moved in our new apartement.

The renovated part is completely different from the old part. It has open spaces where daylight is very essential. It's modern, contemporary and has a vintage style. The new apartment offers a new kitchen, with professional-style appliances, two ovens and loads of storage, a nice dining room with a magnificent view, a cosy lounge, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We still enjoy the old part of the house. This has become a spacious studio with a warm and authentic feel. The old wood stove and ancient wooden beams are still the eyecatchers.
